Diesel-Powered Porsche Macan Makes Its Way to the U.S.

The Diesel-Powered Porsche Macan Makes Its Way to the U.S.

Diesel lovers have one more vehicle to swoon over in 2015. In Europe there is already a diesel engine for the Porsche Macan, and now it looks like the German automaker will be offering the same model in the U.S.

Americans can already get the Cayenne in a diesel engine, which was released to help Porsche compete with the Audi Q7 and Volkswagon Touareg. Improved MPG without sacrificing power or a roomy interior is the driving force behind the renewed interest in diesels within the U.S. So it comes as no surprise that Porsche is expanding their diesel offerings, and putting another SUV at the top of the list.

Rumor has it that the Porsche Macan diesel model will be priced at around $60,000, which puts it squarely in between the price point for the Macan S and Macan Turbo.

Specs to Expect in the New Porsche Diesel Models

Top speed of 143 miles per hour

Macon Turbo
